No - at least it would be „irregular“.
Why should he change his name?

And if you assume that he really went by different given names in later years, you need to find undoubtedly strong proof for that.

you true it is just because i have a "marcus andreas forkel" on two acts (his deathact and his son birth act), with those supposed parents, and i didnt find any in those books here except that "paul andreas" who do have a godfather named "marcus andreas". some (rare) times on french acts there are a "mistake" from the one who whrote it.

what i have is the death act for marcus andreas (n°.9 here https://www.archion.de/p/62153120cb/ wich is exactly ok with 1741 birth act (72yo in 1813) + birth place is written..
just checked 45 forkel birth acts with no result. remain 2 acts, 1741 one and this one n°89 here https://www.archion.de/p/16d50db78d/ but i see andreas and no marcus..
