I am looking for the birth certificate of my great-great-grandmother, she was born in Bavaria in 1854. She was not catholic. I have been trying to find this document in the parrishes, one by one, with no success. Is there anyone in this forum who can help?

She came to Perú with her parents, Joseph Wiesmeier and Anna Schurin.
She was baptized in Perú December 1871 in order to marry my great-great-grandfather who was a Catholic.
According to the Baptism Records, she was German, born in Munich.
They got married January 2, 1872.

We have all the documents from Perú.
We need her birth certificate to prove she was actually born in Germany.
That is what I have been trying to find with no results so far...

Yes, you are correct.
Since she traveled to Peru and got married here, her marriage certificate and the other documents needed can be found in the registers in Peru.
I know it will be difficult but at least it is worth trying.

It's always interesting to follow the discussions in this forum.

Vera has already provided the link to the marriage record of Joseph Wiesmeyer in 1854 (https://www.archion.de/p/6494a93af1/). According to this record Joseph Wiesmayer came from Eichstätt in Bavaria. Both facts - he was catholic and came from Bavaria to Northern Germany - sound a bit unusual, but it's what we find in the documents.

Checking the parish registers of Eichstätt it's possible to find the birth record of Joseph in 1817: https://data.matricula-online.eu/de...tt-dompfarrei-unsere-liebe-frau/19-01/?pg=191 and https://data.matricula-online.eu/de...tt-dompfarrei-unsere-liebe-frau/19-01/?pg=192).
The names in this entry perfectly match with the names given in the entry of 1854. Even the address in Eichstätt is given (Haus Nummer 49). You can use this link (https://atlas.bayern.de/?c=660151,5417844&z=19&r=0&l=historisch&t=ba&mid=2) to identify the exact location in Eichstätt.

Matricula is another platform for church records beside Archion and refers to roman catholic parish registers. I guess the baptism record of Joseph may be of interest for you as well. Have fun to continue your search.

To be clear: in order to apply for citizenship - in your(!!) specific case were all is dependent on an arbitrary decision - you need at the very least (besides all the records from the archives in Peru which without any gap need to provide the "row / chain" between the above mentioned emigrants / immigrants to you) certified copies of the following records:

-birth record Marie Josephine Wiesmeier
-marriage record of her parents
-birth record of her mother
-marriage record of her mother's parents
-birth record of her father
-marriage record of her father's parents

Unless not already done you will for granted be able to find any further records on your own.
