Heymelius Vogtmann, Evangelische Kirche Pfarrer of Barbelroth (Bad Bergzabern) in 1690's

Heymelius Vogtmann was an Evangelische Kirche Pfarrer (pastor) of Barbelroth in the 1690's. I found his burial record in the Bad Bergzabern Ev Kirche book for 1699. Is there records in the Evangelische Kirche on pfarrers, such as where they trained and where they were born? From the burial record Heymelius Vogtmann was born around 1653, but it doesn't say where he was from originally.

Best regards,
Ralph Roesler

Yes. That long sold out book is called

Die evangelischen Geistlichen der Pfalz seit der Reformation
Author: Georg Biundo

Often in short referred to as: Pfälzisches Pfarrerbuch

Please also see the notes and references in the first link as already provided by @Anne23 above.

And regarding "Heymelig" as his given name: this is probably a reading error. Last character is no"g", but an abbrevation for the latin ending -us.
So Heymelius or Heimelius.

The teacher database of the PRFK tells us, he was born in Sandhofen, which is nowadays part of the city of Mannheim. Not really Hesse, but today only 5km south of the hessian border.

I haven't seen the originals of the immatriculation in Marburg, just the printed edition. Maybe Hontfofen is also a reading error.

You might want to verify, parish registers are online here at Archion. Birth date might be between 1650 and 1655.
