Please open a separate, new topic for each reading aid request. Thank you.

Multiple, different reading aid requests, combined in one topic only, easily lead to confusion for everyone involved.

Das alphabetische Verzeichnis lautet / The alphabetical list is as follows:

The name comes from Greek: εὖ (eu) means “good” and φρήν (phren) means “heart, mind, spirit, spirit.” It can therefore be translated as “the cheerful one,” “the joyful one,” or “the kind-hearted one.” The name Euphrosyne is borne by one of the three Graces in Greek mythology. The other two are Thalia and Aglaia. (from: Wikipedia).

Es kann in den älteren Kirchenbüchern durchaus vorkommen, dass die Schreibweise der Familiennamen von Eintrag zu Eintrag (hier: Kerthals/Kurzhals), manchmal sogar innerhalb eines Eintrags, voneinander abweicht – je nachdem, was der Pfarrer verstanden bzw. zu hören geglaubt hat.

In older church records, it is quite common for the spelling of family names to vary from entry to entry (here: Kerthals/Kurzhals), sometimes even within a single entry, depending on what the pastor understood or thought he heard.

Thanks for that understanding

Thank you. I had a question on the transcription to English. Is it saying that Jacob from Rosgarten is deceased? And what does "pr.(oclamiert) Domo. 18. 19 et 20. p.(ast) T.(rinitatis)" mean? You have been very helpful. I appreciate everything.

never mind I think this is how it would transcribe

Widower Jacob Golombeck, landowner in Grünelinde, with Euphrosyne, the eldest unmarried daughter of the deceased Jacob Kurzhals in Rossgarten.

The banns were read on the 18th, 19th, and 20th Sundays after Trinity
Thanks

That's right in old times it was written "Proclamation am ..." or proclamiert [am] ..." today "Proklamation".
I do not know wheather that translation is correct. In my opinion he might as well have been owner of a poor little house. He possessed something in the town but we do not know what.
