1757 Baptism - Schwetzingen

Good evening. May I please see a translation of the baptism of Johan Nicolaus Baust (top, left page)? Does the entry state that the father is not Martin Baust?

I think it may say that the child was born shortly after the marriage of Martin Baust x Ana Maria Schumacher. Here is a link to the couple's marriage in JAN 1756: https://www.archion.de/p/dba6226cae/

Does this mean that Johan Nicolaus Baust was born in 1756 but baptized MAR 1757?

Thank you for any assistance.

Kind regards,

Ellen (USA)

Thank you for replying. The death in 1823 is for Johann Nicolaus Baust and names his parents as Martin Baust and Anna Maria Schumacher (as well as the names of his 2 wives). Perhaps the name variations are due to the entries coming from different locations?

In any case, may I please have a translation of the second paragraph of the baptism entry? I think it may say the father was actually a soldier (NN Hoss?) but I am unclear with the handwriting, Thank you.

Kind regards,

Ellen

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I overlooked that this was a separate entry! Happily, my data is still correct and does not have to be altered. Thank you.

Regards,

Ellen
