Thank you. That makes sense, however, he died before 1917, his daughter's marriage record stated he was deceased. His wife was born in 1846 and died 1917, I have her death record. So it must mean something else.Yes, it looks like:

The second, or rather the first date (just a guess) could be the death date of his wife, because the line starts with "U:" (could be = uxor = wife)? And if it is, was she about the same age, only 2 years younger?
And what about the numbers behind the date? Questions over questions...
