I am trying to find a baptism record in Uslar for Johanna Sophia Ernestina Schäfer, who married Georg Christoph Süssenguth on 30 Sep 1798 at St. Johannes in Göttingen. The marriage record says:
Den 30t. Sept: privatem Hr. Georg Christoph Süssengut Bürger, Brauer und Weisgerbermeister allhier, Johann Adam Süssenguts Bürger Brauer und Weisgerbermeister hieselbst ehelicher Sohn, mit Jfr. Johanna Sophia Ernestina Schäferin, Johann Cyriacus Schaefers Bürger Brauer und Stellmachermeister von Uslar eheliche ältesten Tochter.
Johanna was buried at St. Johannes on 28 Jul 1820, age 54 years, so she was probably born about 1766.
The Kirchengemeindelexikon entry for Uslar says there are separate records for "Stadt" and "Land." Archion shows entries for both "Uslar - Stadt" and "Uslar - Land." However, both entries say "Keine verfügbaren Digitalsate." Instead there is a single entry for just "Uslar," no "Stadt" or "Land." It does not appear that Johanna Sophia Ernestina Schäfer's baptism is recorded in the records of just "Uslar," however. Does anyone know if the records of Uslar "Stadt" and "Land" are different from the records of just plain "Uslar"? If so, are they available anywhere?
Thanks very much for your help. Es tut mir leid, mein Deutsch ist sehr schlecht.
