Transcription Help with Two Related Baptisms

1) Like you said, in 1794, she was around 27. Her birth year would be around 1767. I did find this baptism in Dennin the other day:

[...] M. Casper Schult [...] Louise Zastrow [...] 17 Sept. 1767 [...] 23 Sept. [...] Marie Dorthie -
Taufzeugen (?) Marie Christine Kleiften, Martin Scröcher [...] in Dennin [...] 2) Dorthie Kadows, mädgen (?) in Dennin 3) Michel Friederich Schienelbem (?) [...] in Dennin.

Schröders Einwohners in Dennin Ehefr[au], 2. Dorthie Kadows Mägdgen
in Dennin, 3. Michel Friederich Schievelbein Schäferkn[echt] in Dennin

Häuschenmann = Häusler > a small farmer, who had a small cottage. If any at all they owned only very little of farmland.

2) I also found the baby's death/burial record the other day:

Dennin / In (?) Marie Dorthie Schulten [...] Marie Dorthie [...] 2 Oct [...] 6 Oct (?) [...] / in 1 jarh (?) / epilepsie

Tote 1792

[Todesursache] Epilepsie

Häuschenmann = Häusler > a small farmer, who had a small cottage. If any at all they owned only very little of farmland.

Thank you for the transcription and explanation! I find all of these different jobs titles very interesting.

I have found some tidbits out about the father Casper Schulte. I don't know if I'm missing any clues that might be there. I'm hoping to find out more about his origins,

I believe he was born around 1712 based on his death record. His 1760 marriage to Louise Zastrowe would make him around 48. I would assume he was a widower.

Does the marriage provide any clues? It's a short record, but there is one word I'm not sure about:

Dennin - 2 Mai : Casper Schult (witwer (?)) v. Louise Zastrows

And I believe I found his death/burial record:

Dennin - 11 - Casper Schult, [...] 31 Mart : (M [...] 5 [...]) 1772 [...], 5 Mart [...] - in 64 jahrs [...]

Could you assist with this transcription when you have a chance? I'm also not sure which line on the second page is his. I can't decide if he is the 60 or 64 year old. Thank you once again!

In ancient church registers the character u may be substituted by the character v - and vice versa.

Thank you for the information! I'm happy to confirm that he was a widower which explains his age at the time of his marriage.

I have a couple of questions about my other branch of the family in this area. Christian Andrees Maehling's daugher married Johan Jaochim Quast.

I can make another post if necessary.

I found Jaochim's father's first (?) marriage in Grambzow. I need a little assistance on it. I don't want to miss any details.

Grambzow - 1791 - Simon Quast [...] Quast in Grambzow und Catherine Dorthie Wodrichs, [...] Grambzow, [...] 4 Novbr in [...] Grambzow copuliret (?).

I've found several of his children's baptisms. This one is the only one in Plötz. It seems to have quite a bit of genealogical information:

[...] Simon Quast, Simon Quast, tagelöhner (?) [...], Mutter (?) Dorothea Wodrichs, Christoph Wodrichs, Maria Töllners, niu (?) [...] Carl Erdmann gebt 26t [...] 30t Martz, [...] 1 Carl Christian Marl (?) 2 Erdmann [...] 3 Cartharina [...] Wodrichs.

If you could provide assistance, I would be truly grateful once again.

I'll help with these two in this thread.

However, I'd suggest that you please open a new topic / thread for additional requests for help if any. Thanks in advance.

[1791]

Simon Quast, ein Knecht in Grambzow und Cathrine Dorthie Wodrichs [Wodrich], eine
Dirne [in] Grambzow, find den 4tn Novbr. [November] in der Kirche zu Grambzow copuliret [copuliert].

classified by column heading as: Junggeselle mit Jungfer

The German word "Dirne" in this context means: Magd / Dienstbotin. (It has nothing to do with another possible meaning as "prostitute"!!)

Thank you for the explanation! That's a relief, lol.

Thank you once again. This confirms that this is the correct Simon Quast.

I will open up a new thread if I have any other transcription questions. Your help has been outstanding!
