Swiss immigrants in Church Records

I found this description about a Church Register: “This church register contains many entries from Swiss immigrants”.
How can you tell from a baptism record:
1. That they are immigrants?
2. That they are Swiss?
Any help appreciated.

Please provide / post a Permalink to the church register in question / to which you refer.

How to do so is i.e. described here:

-------------------------------------

In general talking about birth / baptism records: when the name of the child's father (or mother) is provided there are in general also information provided about the father's place of residence / former residence.

Given that it is more or less easy going to identify people having places of origin / residence outside of "Germany".

My quote came from the Detailseite for several church registers (for example see below)
I have seen entries (on another website) that describe the father as a foreigner (framblinger?). Do some baptismal records call out the nationality or place of origin of the father? (And what would that look like?)

In order to provide some examples only....

[Baptism]

P[arentes / parents] Johannes Mattheiy aus der Schweitz
und ....

[Baptism]

P[arentes / parents] Joh[ann] Jacob Weidler, Leinenweber aus dem
Zürichgebieth und....

--------------------------------------------

[Marriage]

.... habe copulirt
Jacob Großmann, Wittwer auß der
Schweitz und....

[Marriage]

... Andreas Steyry aus der
Schweitz Bernergebietes, und....

[Marriage]

...Schneider von Mettmannstätten [Mettmenstetten]
in der Herrschafft Knonaw [Knonau]

Züricher Jurisd[iction] in der Eydesgenossenschaft...

---------------------------

It's the words in detail which provide such kind of information.

Hope that helps.
