I am looking for information about the following family:
Father: Heinrich Flege (born c. 1777), full-time farmer in Landesbergen (parish of Landesbergen, district of Stolzenau-Loccum). Died presumably around 1842 — place of death unclear (not found in Landesbergen burial records 1841–1842). Possibly Goldenstedt (district of Vechta, Grand Duchy of Oldenburg).
Mother: Cath. Lucia Juliana Eleonora Ahrens (called Eleonore), born 13 Feb 1785 in Stralendorf near Schwerin, baptized 17 Feb 1785 in the parish of Schwerin and Stralendorf (reference no. 191/1, pp. 62–63). Daughter of a "H. Pensionarius Ahrens in Stralendorf" — first name unknown. Died before 1875.
Children:
1. Sophie (1809–1875), née Landesbergen, married to Friedrich Kimmann (farmer, Landesbergen house no. 15)
2. Diedrich Heinrich Wilhelm Flege (born 30 Oct 1817), died 20 May 1892 Hamburg
3. Heinrich Flege (born November 24, 1821), emigrated from Bremen to Baltimore on October 7, 1842 (destination Cincinnati), died October 17, 1908 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
4. Friedrich (Johann Friedrich) Flege (born June 16, 1824, Goldenstedt), emigrated from Bremen to Baltimore on November 9, 1843 (ship "Bohl Bohlen", NARA M255 Roll 4 List 75), died August 15, 1910, Grant County, Kentucky, USA
What I'm looking for:
- Marriage record Heinrich Flege x Cath. LJE Ahrens (presumably ca. 1807–1808, location unknown)
- Baptismal record of Sophie in 1809 in Landesbergen
- Death entries for Heinrich (ca. 1842) and Eleonore (before 1875)
- First name of "Pensionarius Ahrens" in Stralendorf
- Parents of Heinrich Flege (born around 1777, origin unknown)
- Baptismal records of the sons Heinrich (1821) and Friedrich (1824) in Goldenstedt or Vechta
The family appears to have moved between 1809 (Sophie's birth in Landesbergen) and 1821–24 (sons in Goldenstedt). Does anyone know this family or can provide any information?
