Some reading help, please?

I would really like to have some help!  We know my great grandfather's birthdate because of his tombstone in America.  We think we found his birth record in St. Leonhard church in Nuernberg. His name was aslo Leonhard. Leonhard's mother was Anne Bierlein.

In order to find more about Anne Bierlein, I searched for Leonhard's siblings.  I think I found two of them and here is what I see.  Please offer clarification to any of my mistakes:

7th Entry #54 Helene Magdalene Bierlein (1864)http://www.archion.de/p/0bab5e1b9d/

Note:  Died 12 November 1867
1st Column:  Name Helene Magdalene Bierlein

3rd Column:  Father ? Conrad?  What is the rest?  What is the date of 1867 and the number A. 944?
4th Column:  Father's religion?  Seems to be another (Like in my great Grandfather's record) mention of Schwabach here, possible military commander?
5th Column I don't know what the heading means but the place is Nuernberg
6th Column:  Mother is Anne Bierlein
7th Column:   Religion I see Eibach.  My grandfather's birth is recorded in the church in Eibach, so I'm very interested in what it means here.

9th Column:  Born 10 Feb,
10th Column:  Baptized 17 Feb.

Column 8:  ? 2  (different address?)
Column 9:  Born 12 March 5 in the evening  No baptism (stillborn)
Column 12:  What is this?

Leonard Bierlein is my great grandfather, My cousin found this years ago and had it translated, but I have a question about one part:

2nd entry # 468:  Leonhard Bierlein Birth (1869)  http://www.archion.de/p/221100e40a/

What I would like to know from this record is in the column that lists the father.  Here's what I could make out:

Father is Johann Michael Schmidt, then below it says L. G. Schwabach with the date of 31 Aug 1870 E. N. 195/70   What is this date and number reference of 195/70???  Who is L. G. Schwabach?  Military commander?

Thank you so much!

Schwabach is a town about 9 miles south of Nürnberg. It was the seat of a district court (Landgericht, abbreviated L. G.). The references you see to L. G. Schwabach (in both Helene Magdalene and Leonhard's entries) are to the district court, followed by case or file numbers. An extensive set of case files has been digitised by familysearch.org (https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1837734), but I haven't figured out their filing system or how to locate the case numbers within the digitised files.

In the second column, the last word (after the number of birth and whether it was live or stillborn) is the name of the midwife (not really relevant for you).

For Helene Magdalene, the father's name is Conrad Fischer. I can't make out his place of origin (it begins Ober. . . ). The fourth column says the father was a soldier in the 14th line infantry regiment (Linieninfantrieregiment). Below that is a reference to an action in the district court (Landgericht) Schwabach on 25 July 1867, case number A 9441 (or A G 441) - maybe this is where the father acknowledged the child.

The 5th column is for the current residence of the father - so nothing more is known of his whereabouts than that he was stationed in Nürnberg.

The 7th column is about the origin/position/status of the mother. It says that Anna Bierlein is a "Maurergesellentochter v. Eibach Ev." - that is, daughter of a journeyman bricklayer from Eibach (about 4 miles southwest of downtown Nürnberg, now part of the city) and Protestant

The 8th column states that Anna was living in the St. Leonhard district in house number 35 (at this point I don't think there were separate house numbers for each street, but rather all houses within a city district or neighborhood were numbered sequentially)

The 12th column is the name of the godparent. In this case it is Helene Magdalene Bierlein, sister of the child's mother (i.e., Anna Bierlein's sister). That is great information - in order to find Anna Bierlein's father in Eibach, you will need to find someone who had at least two daughters, named Anna and Helene Magdalene.

For the stillborn baby:

The 6th and 7th columns do indeed say that she is the daughter of a Georg Bierlein ("T. d. Georg Bierlein" expands to "Tochter des Georg Bierlein"). He is now said to be a resident of Gustenfelden in the district of Schwabach (this is a village about 2 miles west of Schwabach).

The 8th column does indicate that Anna now lives at a different address.

The 12th column says "Knäblein" or "little boy" - the stillborn baby was male

Incidentally, the birth record for Leonhard states that Anna was the daughter of a bricklayer from Kottensdorf, which is a village about a mile west of Gustenfelden. Thus, Georg Bierlein, Anna's father, did move about a bit - from Eibach in 1867 to Kottensdorf in 1869 to Gustenfelden in 1870. If you want to go looking for him, the parish records for Eibach are available under Dekanat Nürnberg > Nürnberg-St. Johannes Baptist (Eibach), and those for Gustenfelden under Dekanat Schwabach > Gustenfelden. Those for Kottensdorf do not appear to be available.
