Reading Aid for Marriage Record

https://www.archion.de/p/d6dd26efcf/
Hello. Could someone please help me with this marriage record of Johannes Scherer to Maria Martha?

Also, when it says "von Pfungstadt" does that not necessarily mean Johannes was born in Pfungstadt, but just living there at the time?

Thank you so much for your help!

Hi,

Johannes Scherer von Pfungstadt mit Maria Martha
des Conrad Kochs Einwohner ??

The rest I also have my problems reading it.

Regarding your question, in normally means he was born there.

Also, when it says "von Pfungstadt" does that not necessarily mean Johannes was born in Pfungstadt, but just living there at the time?

Exactly.

One always needs to consider both options:

a) the person was born at that place
and also
b) the person (only) resided at that place at the time of the record in question.

Thanks for taking so much care.

Thank you both for your help! I really appreciate it!!

Does it say what Conrad's relation is to her? I can't tell if it's her prior husband's name or her father's name.
Also, what is the 1754 date noted at the end?
Thank you.

Hallo,

Does it say what Conrad's relation is to her? I can't tell if it's her prior husband's name or her father's name.

LG

In case this this burial refers to the "correct" Conrad Koch, she is his widow.

This Conrad Koch died on February 5 (or 6) 1753. Matching the death record of Maria Martha Scherer (1779), two children ("zwey Kinder") are mentioned (probably https://www.archion.de/p/4330d35cb6/, and https://www.archion.de/p/16f4db336c/).

Also, what is the 1754 date noted at the end?
As, according to the registers, the Scherer-Koch marriage took place just 19 or 20 days after Mr. Koch's death, which is very unlikely, I would assume, the Nota Bene is a clarification concerning the correct year of marriage (1754). Perhaps the priest did his "bookkeeping" just once a year, or every other year, made a mistake, and didn't want to cross out what was already written.

Thank you all so much for your help!! I couldn't figure it out. I really appreciate all of your transcriptions, links and research. Thank you again!
Danke schön!!
