Which place is meant with Trzeple (or Tzeple?)? Is it a village in the Neumark??

Could it be Treplin?

That could be possible. Treplin was an "Ortsteil" of Neuwalde (Brzozowa) in former Kreis Oststernberg. Bprdering to Neuwalde is Neu- or Klein Költschen, later Hammer (now Rudnica). According to the Hufenklassifikation Neumark 1717/1719 there was a Hans Jürgen Grunow Wittwe living in Klein Költschen. In the Hufenklassifikation of Oststernberg, the name Grunow is only mentioned in Sonnenburg and Klein Költschen. So it seems likely Georg Grune/Gruno who married in Frankfurt an der Oder in 1712 came from Treplin (Neuwalde).

Treplin was only a "Vorwerk" (outlying estate): https://agoff.de/?p=97397&id=1487#erg
In a Vorwerk didn't live cottagers (Cossäten).

Yes Treple indeed. Alas no church books. We will never find out for sure, I think.

I checked the marriage index for Brandenburg 1535-1899 and found 2 individuals named Gruno from Treppeln, Kreis Guben (not identical to Treppeln, Kreis Crossen) in 1854 and 1872. That's too late, but however it indicates that the name Gruno existed in Treppeln, Kreis Guben.
