Page 290, Johannes Geckeler, Jungmacher. That occupation doesn’t make any sense. I suspect that is my 3rd great grandfather who moved to America in 1848 from Reutlingen, Württemberg, Germany to work as the farmer in Minnesota. I think he escaped due to political interference?
