Obermoschel - 1704 Baptism Reading Help

http://www.archion.de/p/fc53a0b0d8/

I am seeking help with the entry for Friederica Dorothea Susanna. I see the father is Johann Wilhelm Luecker and the mother is Henrica Elisabetha. I wonder what it says additionally about the father.

Thank you for any assistance.

Regards,

Ellen

Friederica Dorothea Susanna

"geweßenen" means "former" and could here be either:
Johann Wilhelm was already deceased at the day of the baptism
or:
his former profession/occupation/military degree was ....
The second one ist more likely, otherwise he probably would be declared additionally with "p.m." (piae memoriae)

Gruß
Michael

Many thanks for your time. I tried to "Google" to learn something of his military experience but could not find anything - it is enjoyable to put a historical story or context behind the ancestor.

Kind regards,

Ellen

Can someone tell me if this entry on 23 August 1705 (Luecker) contains any additional information about Johann Wilhelm Luecker that is not already stated above?

Thank you,

Ellen

Here you can find a long text about the Bernstein mill between Niedermoschel and Obermoschel. It was built 1675 as a replacement for the old mill, that had been destroyed in the Thirty Years' War. The builder was Grand Marshal Baron Friedrich von Bernstein, who served in the Pfalz-Zweibrücken army.

I assume the Rittmeister von Bernstein could have been a relative of him, maybe his son.

Interesting that the von Bernstein family had relations to and property in Obermoschel.

(1705)
Den 23. Aug.starb H(errn) Johann Wilhelm Lückers zu Alsentz,
geweßenen Lieutenants unterm hochl(öblichen) Churpfaltz-
Venningerischen Carabiner Regiment, Töchterlein Friederica
Dorothea Susanna...

Churpfaltz = Kurpfalz
Sorry, but I am not an expert in military things.

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eberhard_Friedrich_von_Venningen

… IN REGIM: CARABINIERS …

Thank you for the input here - I appreciate the help in trying to understand. I look forward to reviewing what everyone has contributed here!

Kind regards,

Ellen
