This is I believe the proclamations for the marriage between Leonard Friedrich Wilhelm Matthes and Auguste Catharina Louisa Hiller; actual marriage on 27 August 1872. I have searched the Ludwigsburg for their actual marriage and family and haven't yet found them. Is there anything here that will direct me to those records? Thanks, Karen.
 
Why did you search in Ludwigsburg? His profession was "Buchhalter in Ludwigsburg", but the marriage was actually in Kirchberg.

The records includes a special column which provides information where the actual marriage took place - please note the column heading „Ort der Copulation“

Copulation = marriage
 
Silly me! I searched there because it gives the marriage in Ludwigsburg on his father's family record. There were so many many files to search there also!!
 
Can you tell me what the last column is in the above record. I'm guessing a reference to the Family Record but it doesn't read the same as before? Karen.
 
Aah, interesting thank you. It records also that she married Leonard Matthes but I don't think it references a family record for them. Can you confirm that for me? Thanks, Karen.

Seems he was called Wilhelm, not Leonhard.
