d. 5. Mai starb der alte Philipp Andreas Draheim, war ein ... lahmer und gebrechlicher Mann, hatte zugleich seine Schmerzen, wurde d. 8ten begraben.

Many thanks.
Unbelieveably it is 05.05.2026 today so this is the 297th anniversary of his death.
I am a direct descendant of Andreas.
Nettiem

Thank you very much for all that information, Stefan.
I was hoping that there were earlier Wollin records as Friedrich Draheim (this is my line), son of Andreas, is recorded on his marriage record in Grenz as coming from Wollin. I have not been able to find his birth record circa 1700.
The Draheims certainly moved around the area, Grenz, Carmzow, Wallmow, Eickstedt, Wollin and then Tornow, Rollwitz and Schenkenberg.
Thanks again,
Nettie

Hello, I have Draheim from Tornow Christoph Draheim was born 1736. Peter Woddow
Hello Peter,
Christoph Draheim born 1736 is a direct ancestor.
Christoph Draheim b.1736
1) Ernst Draheim b.1777 Tornow
2)Christian Friedrich Draheim b.1809 Rollwitz
d.10.09.1866 Tarampa, Queensland, Australia
Are we distantly related?
Nettie

Hello Nettie, that is correct, Christian: your Christoph Draheim marrried in 1766 and was 26 years old, meaning he was born in 1740. In the case of my Christoph Draheim, who married in 1785, he was 49 years old and a widower.
Is it the same one, or two different ones?

That is possible, but so far there is no indication of it. I am currently checking the godparents. In 1785, this Christoph was 49 years old, meaning he was born in 1736; the Christoph from 1766 was 26 years old, meaning he was born in 1740. We need to find godparents who are connected to Christoph; furthermore, he is referred to as Christoph Friedrich, why?

He was recorded as Christoph Friedrich in 5 birth records of children.

His death record recorded that remaining family were his wife and 2 minor children.

There were no surviving minors from the marriage to Anna Sophia Kersten as she died in 1784.
There were surviving minors from the marriage to Christina Riecken.
Does this suggests that they are one and the same?
