2. April ist Paul Neumann gestorben. War letzt Pferdehüter, vorher Tagelöhner. Sein Leben war nach der alten Weise. Ich habe keine Wähnung (?) zur Buße und Gebet vermerkt. Begraben den 5ten [April].

Paul Neumann died on April 2nd. He was last a stable boy, before that a day laborer. His life was according to the old ways. I have noted no mention of repentance or prayer. Buried on April 5th.
