Gebhard family in Wersbach, Burscheid, Germany [correct: Wörsbach, Niederkirchen]

I am looking for any information related to Emilie Chrismann Gebhard and her son Adolf Gebhard (b. 7/21/1905), who lived in Wersbach around 1904-1912.

Good evening.

People residing in Wersbach / near Burscheid whose religious belief is Evangelical Lutheran belonged to the parish of Witzhelden.

Church registers for Witzhelden are online available at Archion as to be seen here:

Did you already check those church registers?

This should be the relevant family tree, right?

And please allow one additional question:

Are you really certain that Wersbach, near Burscheid, is the correct place to investigate and that it's i.e. not one of these places named / pronounced as "Wersbach"?

This topic will now be moved to the forum for "Rheinland-Pfalz" [Rhineland Palatinate]

[Wörsbach near Burscheid in the German state, Northrhine-Westphalia was the wrong place.]

Good afternoon. I appreciate your responses. I cannot be certain of the town, Wersbach, as it was recorded that way on the Ellis Island register when my Great Grandmother Emilie and her son Adolf arrived in the USA. I understand that when entries were made, surnames were often misspelled and/or changed and I suspect that the names of towns or cities may have had the same fate.
