Final question on this topic! The fact that there are no Family Registers prior to 1950 in Waldenburg, does that mean they are lost or just not yet digitalised; would I find them in Germany? Many Thanks, Karen.

I assume that the originals of the "Familienregister" prior to the year 1950 were lost during the war, like other records from there.
