My 7th great-grandfather is Sebastian Kuehner. Is the name on the left page "Bastian Kuhner?" I think it says his first marriage was 16 FEB 1697 (to Agnes ???). Agnes died 17 MARCH 1707. Sebastian remarried on 15 JULY 1707 to Anna Margaretha ??? Can anyone please help with a translation of the important parts/names?

Also, if I have the correct person - I believe a daughter (Anna Eva) was born in 1700. But she is not listed here in the Sennfeld Family Book. Is it possible a child might not be listed here? Thank you for any help.

Now coming to your question.

It is Bastian Kühner, married at Korb on Feb 16, 1697. His wife is Agnes, daughter of Bastian Wolperts of Korb.

I don't understand the word in front of the date March 17, 1707. I never learned Latin :) . For me it looks like "denatat". According to some internet pages covering Latin in Church books, it might be "denatus" or "denatos" which means "died".

On the bottom after the long paragraph it seems like a 2nd marriage on July 15 (?), 1707 to Anna Margretha, daughter of deceased Jacob Meisinger from Hollenbach.

"nuptiae" means marriage, so "Secundar nuptiae" is a 2nd marriage.

The paragraph with "iberi" covers the children. The first two words "filiolum peperit" should mean "child birth". And then someone who knows Latin should continue :)

 
the word in the second line under ‘uxor’ [=wife] reads
‘denata’ … [female form of ‘denatus’] = ‘deceased’


fourth line from the bottom reads
‘Secundas nuptias habuit viduus’
‘the widower had a second marriage’

If anyone can help translating what it says about children, I would appreciate that. What I am used to seeing is the names of the children and their birth dates.
