These are the baptisms in Diez of two daughters (1752 and 1754) of Friedrich Hatzmann, musketeer at the 4th battalion Zu Diez and Philippine, born Weimar. What I still can't find out are the names of the two girls (the couple had another daughter in 1762 named Anna Elisabeth). I have not found any death records (yet). Any ideas?

Yes I tried that. I did indeed find one, but I can place her (1769) with another set of parents. An article in Gens Nostra stated the second girl (1654) is name Joh.Ca.? I thought perhaps Johanna Carolina but it's too much of guesswork. I did find some Hatzmann women in Amsterdam (1780-1790) some decades later who fit the time frame and came from Diez, but again it's guess work and there were a lot of Hatzmann families in the Diez area (Staffel, Holzheim, Birlenbach etc, all baptized in Diez) with most of the girls having similar names.
