Do you know by the way what "garnstman" von Staffel means? Jost Weimar was later mentioned as "garnstman". I tried to Google this but it seems it's not written right.

Ein niederländisches Geneaology-Magazin erwähnte es in einem Artikel über diese bestimmte Familie, dass er als Garntsman von Staffel erwähnt wurde (paten). Ich werde versuchen, es nachzuschlagen. Ich denke, es bedeutet etwas Militärische (Garnison oder so).
