For the marriage entry on November 16: Philipp Jacob Nuss - -

Is the bride Maria Dorothea BADEWINS? I am unsure if she is the daughter of Walter Badewins or the widow of Walter Badewins. I think the town written after her name is Dorrenbach?

She is one of my great-great grandmothers but I have been unable to learn of her parents or birth or death. Thank you for any input.

Thank you for sharing the gedbas link. I had seen Maria Dorothea given the surname KLEIN in other places, but I could not document where it came from. I see in the link you provided that Mr. Dittmar has a marriage date of February, 1691 for the marriage to Walter BADEWIN. Unfortunately, the Archion marriage entries only begin in April 1691.

I will attempt to contact Mr. Dittmar through the gedbas site. But I have never had any success when I try to contact the submitters at gedbas.

The information about the first marriage comes obviously from the Ortsfamilienbuch Meisenheim by Günther F. Anthes. Unfortunately it was published already in 1988, so difficult to get a copy. Or to be exact 9 copies. There are 6 book about the protestant families and 3 about the Catholics. However, the books are available in some libraries.
But I don't expect that you will find more information than published on Gedbas.

However, Günther F. Anthes was a well renowned genealogist who published more than 100 books. So you can be pretty sure that the information provided is correct.
