Oertel family in Nuremberg

I would like the name of the child Oertel cited in these birth and death records please. It looks like Posard or Sosard to me which does not seem like the correct name.

In addition, the first wife of Johann Sebastian Oertel appears to be "Katherina Schneider" according to birth records for their, but I do not understand the reference in the marriage to his second wife, under the category for widow. Could I have a translation please.

Thank you.

The boy was called Erhard/Erhardt - quite popular at that time and in the region (I've got some of them in my family, too).
The first wife of Johann Sebastian Oertel was indeed Katharina Schneider, she was "von Reutlingen".
The text says:
Wittwer von Ka-
tharina geb. Schnei-
der aus Reutlin-
gen.
(Widower from Katharina née Schneider from Reutlingen)

Baptism entry of a daughter of Johann Sebastian and Katharina Oertel, where "Reutlingen" is very easily read:

Reutlingen is in today's German State of Baden-Württemberg, you will find the records here in Archion! (Württemberg: Landeskirchliches Archiv Stuttgart -> Dekanat Reutlingen)

Good luck!

Anna Felicitas was already the third child of Johann Sebastian Oertel and his first wife. I could not find an older child baptized in St. Egidien, one would have to try other parishes in Nuremberg ...

I think that No. 7 might be her birth record.

First thought: Might - or might not, Schneider being quite a common name ...

Neither the first marriage of Johann Sebastian nor the funeral of Katharina Oertel née Schneider seem to have been recorded in St. Egidien.

I could not find the marriage so far but I did find Katherina’s death record. /http://www.archion.de/p/868cefdf7d/
