Seeking Johann Philip Matthes

This one is a long shot, but it looks like a record for a Matthes; Balthazar and not Philip who I am looking for. The Johann Philip I am looking for died on 27th June 1802 I believe in Kupferzell. I can't find him there so am speculating that he married and moved somewhere else. Any help gratefully received. Karen.

Yes, that is correct.

The term here is also:

ehel. lediger Sohn = legitimate, unmarried son

A good sample to keep at hand for comparison when needed.
