[OFFTOPIC] Breslau University

Hello forum!
My name is Rotem Cohen and I am trying to find any hint about when my grandfather, Dr. Paul May, completed his Dentist Diploma studies, probably in the Breslau University between 1905-1915.
dr Paul May served as a Dentist during the First world war.
Any idea is more then welcome (tried to contact the university- to no avail).
Danke Schoen!!!

Good evening.

I marked your question as OFFTOPIC since this forum focuses on questions / topics dealing with family research in church registers of the German Lutheran Church.
It may help to read: https://www.archion.de/en/the-portal/about-us/

What you are looking for is called

Universitätsmatrikel der: Schlesischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Breslau

That was the name of this university from 1911 to 1945.

The university should at least be able to tell whether these records did survive WWII or not.

Good luck, Vera

Hello,

here are various lists of students at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelm University in Breslau.
I have not been able to find a Paul MAY in the lists from 1903-1908, 1911, 1914/1915.
Many greetings,
Frank

hello
Thank you very much for taking this effort!
I have received recently from the Kassenzahnärztliche Vereinigung Berlin a confirmation that Paul May received his Approbation in 1911. No mentioning regarding the location of his university though.
Hope to get some other source of information in the future.
Many thanks once again,
Rotem Cohen
