Help Reading Town Name Near Hanover

Hello!

I am new to the forum and this is my first post so please be patient.

I am trying to figure out the name of a town near Hanover. A marriage record from St. Louis, Missouri, USA indicates that the bride was from a town near Hanover, but I am unable to make out the name. Is anyone able to make out the name of the town?

Katharine Maria Louisa Heunckhaus It looks like Heuldo Hanover. The closet town name I could come up with, but doubtful was Hulsede.

The bride's place of birth / origin is indeed terribly misspelled and yes, Hülsede (please note the umlauted character which can only be substituted correctly in one single way >> Huelsede) may be possible.

Church registers for Hülsede in the church district Springe in Lower Saxony are online available here at Archion.

I am really sorry - but I did not(!) say that Huelsede is the correct place. I said may be.....

The original German pronunciation / spelling of the bride's family name may have been: Hoinkhaus - this needs to be taken into consideration as well.

Oh I see. Yes, it could be that one. I overlooked that town. Hude actually seems to make a little more sense. Thank you!

I just did a quick search in the Hude records in Oldenburg and this does not seem to be the place. I looked through 30 years of Birth/Baptisms in the 1801 -1927 index and did not find anything close to the last name.
