I apologise if I have asked about this record before but can you please give me the full translation just in case it gives me any clue as to where his family may have moved to, or a reference to any family record that exists. Thank you so much, Karen.

https://www.archion.de/p/49d5b33eff/ I've moved now to Hohebach; to the birth of Johann Christian to Johann Heinrich and Eva Catharina I believe. Does it say where the family came from and where they went to? Many Thanks, Karen.

Thank you, that's great. I now have the details for Johann Christian who was unmarried with no heirs; so now I am just seeking the fate of Philipp Heinrich Matthes (born to Johann Heinrich Matthes); he was born in Hohebach in 1776 - but I can find no references to him for marriage, children or death. I shall keep searching! Karen.
