Churchbooks for Neuendiech?

In the baptism record for Jochim Mitreuter (#12), I think it says his father, Nicolaus, is from Neuendeich (thanks for the previous help on this forum with reading the entry):

Are churchbooks for Neuendeich available?

The earliest I find the Mitreuter family in churchbooks for Glückstadt is the 1784 marriage of Nicolaus Mitreuter and Anna Siebke (#17, again, thanks for previous help on the forum reading the entry):

So, I wonder if Nicolaus was from Neuendiech. I have found many records in the Glückstadt churchbooks after these dates for family of Nicolaus as well as a few before and many after for Anna Siebke's family. But I'd like to find more about the Mitreuter family before they appear in the Glückstadt churchbooks in the 1780s if possible.

Thank you.

Hi again,

"Neuendeich" today is part of the town of Glückstadt (there's still a street named after it) and in most cases you should find church records refering to Neuendeich in the books of Glückstadt as well. But in some cases you could be also successful in "Herzhorn" (also Rantzau-Münsterdorf).

Neuendeich (and also Altendeich) didn't seem to be a real town or village - more rather like an area which wasn't specified any further. I never really understood why I found records in both place (Glückstadt and Herzhorn).

Regards
