Complete with Bremen: Church Records from all Federal States Available on Archion
Archion has extended its range: As of now, the church records from the State Archive Bremen are available online. Therefore, church book inventories from all 16 federal states are now present on Archion – one more step towards a central platform for source-based family research.
The inventories from Bremen comprise numerous Lutheran, Reformed and Catholic church books from the 16th to the early 20th century. They include church records from the city of Bremen, from the parishes belonging to the former land territory of Bremen and from the formerly Prussian communities that were incorporated in 1939.
The inventories that are now also available on Archion continue to be freely accessible via the archive portal Arcinsys. Due to the integration into Archion, genealogists further profit from a convenient and consistent research environment and the possibility of browsing inventories nationwide under one digital roof.
