It seems they married in the US. Haysville, Dubois County, Indiana on 11th of January 1853:

It seems Georg Wening immigrated in New Orleans in 1846 (age 29).

For Anna Margaretha Brendel it's not so sure. There is a M.Brendel (age 22) who arrived in New Orleans as well in 1847. Maybe it's her.

Anna was born on 29th of May 1823 in Gesees, Bavaria. She was the daughter of the farmer Johann Brendel and his wife Margaretha born Hacker from Eichenreuth. The christening was on June 1.
