Good afternoon, I am researching my ancestors, Dietrich Pötter (b. ca. 1655, Zierenberg, Hesse-Kassel), son of Ludwig Pötter, originated from a prominent family in Zierenberg, whose father likely held a municipal office. Dietrich emigrated later to the Cape of Good Hope
