Hi Lynn,
The first word could be unverheiratet, with a few letters missing, at least his death entry in the Jacobiredder church register of 1848 states that he died unmarried, bei Gatelmann in St. Hülfe 28/6 48 mittags (?) beerdigt von (?) Aschen ....? 1/7 48.
