Oberammergau

Hi blanken,

access to digital book material requires paid access. There are different passes available based on your needs. Each pass expires at the end of its period of validity and is not automatically renewed.

Hallo, The Evangelisch-Lutherische Kirchengemeinde Oberammergau
belongs to the Evangelisch-Lutherische Dekanat Weilheim.

http://dekanat-weilheim.de/kirchengemeinden/

But until now here at Archion are no churchbooks of Oberammergau
available.

https://www.archion.de/de/browse/?path=189038#https://www.archion.de/de/browse/&path=48049-430193

I'm sorry, but I do not know a publication date for requested churchbooks.

Maybe Mrs. Sutter will tell you this.

Best regards

Thank you Linde

That was very helpfull ... so now I have to wait for the records to come online, hopefully that won´t be long :)

Att. Sutter: do you have any info as to when the records will be online?

Michael,

as long as Archion is online the entire Archion team never ever answered a single question as to when church books for a specified community will be online available.

The only thing they tell (i.e. see in their newsletters) is when imports for certain German regions (i.e. Bavaria, Baden-Wuerttemberg...) may start.

Hello Blanken,

Hello, what I think is,
the churchbooks are not yet online
because Oberammergrau is a "young" parish (it started end of the 19th cent.)
The data privacy act does not allow a publication.

What I would do is to send an inquiry to

pfarramt.oberammergau@elkb.de

to get information of your family.

And please have a look here
:

Click top right "Metasuche" and then put in

Ort "Oberammergau"

and so on .....

Best regards.
