Although I didn't find a death notice of the child:
Yes, I think she died shortly after the birth.
- there is no name of the child mentioned
- there is no hint regarding godfathers
- there is no notice that child might has been presented at the church to be blessed by the pastor, some hours or days after ther birth (as it usually was the case if, if a weak child survived)
