@user722 is it possible Christian Jauch's profession at his daughter's marriage above is Schmid with some kind of ending on it maybe denoting his seniority or level of experience? I ask because I am seeing on his marriage record he is Schmid not Schneider, unless I am reading it incorrectly. Here is the marriage record http://www.archion.de/p/bcad6b0169/.That’s correct.
