Thank you!!! I truly appreciate your time. This helps me with information I could not translate in other records as well. Thank you so much.
May I ask, of the godparents listed in the entry, is the last one a 'stepchild' of Joh. Hinrich? I ask because it has been impossible to identify the spouse of Joh. Hinrich, the father of Hinrich Wente.

Gevatt:⟨ern⟩ Hans Mayer /Z__d?/ und beyde H. Müllers /Z_bad?/, nahmens
Joh:⟨ann⟩ Hinr:⟨ich⟩ Schrietzer(*) und Hinrich Homeyer(**)

Godparents: Hans Mayer /his profession/ and both Mr. Müller’s (or miller’s) /their profession/ named
Joh:⟨ann⟩ Hinr:⟨ich⟩ Schrietzer(*) and Hinrich Homeyer(**)

(*) his name appears also here: http://www.archion.de/p/b18d776ae4/, a miller
(his wife -uxor- is a godmother there)

(**) his name appears also here: http://www.archion.de/p/98f9b16b6c/ (end of line 2), a miller

I don't think there is anything here about a family relationship.
Unfortunately I can’t read the words in / / (possibly servant(s) )

Wow, thank you again for your help. I clearly translated the surname Schrietzer incorrectly. I thought perhaps it was Stiefsohn. I genuinely appreciate the links you provided as well. It was very helpful to return to other records and see the name written again, as well as the occupation. As you have demonstrated, I am now looking at other records with the surname "Dortsmeyer" to see what else I can learn.
This is the second record I have found that has referred to Kattenbrock. I searched Meyers Gaz for that name, but did not find it. I also did a search on Google maps and could only come up with a street in Hannover and Kattenbroek in the Netherlands. As you demonstrated in your reply, I am looking at other records for the surname "Dortsmeyer" to see what else I can learn. I have a lot of work ahead of me.
Thank you for your time and detailed responses!
