In my search for my ancestry, the place Kapern has appeard. Where is it?

My ancestor was married in Wustrow Lans so i think it must be close…

Can somebody help me?

I haven’t any image of it. I got it on e-mail from the pastor in the church district in Wustrow Lanz.

He wrote this: Churchbook of wedding ceremony Wustrow, 1974, 30ten Jan, p 110

Joachim Christian Porath from Kapern
Anna Catharina Elisabeth Henning, daugther of Jacob Henning.

J.C. Porath comes from Kapern. This is on the other sideof te river Elbe.

When I search for Wustrow Lanz on Google Maps the village of Kapern immediately shows up -south of Wustrow- on the other side of the river Elbe just as the pastor describes.

Kapern used to be called Karpa and was located in Kreis Turoscheln in East Prussia
