I need your help with the German language

so far I can read:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
eod[em] Friedrich Ludewig Heberle ein Bergmann alhier,
weil[and] Heinr[ich] August Heberle eines ......
alhier Sohn, und
Cathrina Maria Beckmann, des Mühlermeisters zu ...
... Christi[an] Friedr[ich] Beckmann Tochter

eod = eodem: an der gleichen Stelle, gleiches Datum. Also am 13. Jan. 1779
weiland: damals, einst. Meint: verstorben.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jan. 13th 1779
Friedrich Ludewig Heberle, a miner from this town (=Clausthal),
son of the deceased Heinrich August Heberle a ...... from this town
and
Cathrina Maria Beckmann, daughter of the mill master Christian
Friedrich Beckmann in .....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Next time when asking: have your own understanding already written here, so that other users can jump in and do not need to write down the full text.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, I am new to this forum, searching for my German roots.
I am immensely grateful. Understanding language definitely opens new horizons. Thanks again. I tried to use Google Translate, but all of you opened up a deeper understanding for me.:)

Vielen Dank! das ging ja schnell!

ChatGPT gives me this translation for the ancient profession of "Puchsteiger": Hoisting foreman
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jan. 13th 1779
Friedrich Ludewig Heberle, a miner from this town (=Clausthal),
son of the deceased Heinrich August Heberle a former hoisting foreman from this town
and
Cathrina Maria Beckmann, daughter of the mill master Christian

Friedrich Beckmann in Förste

@LosMolineros

I am sorry, but please don't use "hoisting foreman", since that would be terribly misleading. His job has nothing to do with „hoisting.“

The first German syllable "Puch" or "Poch" in this compound German noun simply describes / indicates what kind of tools the miners used in order to quarry the ore / in order to stamp.

Simply use the translation: foreman - for this profession.

Thanks.
