Notice: End of time period 1875
The time period of the metadata can in some cases differ from the actual time period of the digitalized church book. The presentation of church books of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Württemberg (Landeskirchliches Archiv Stuttgart) ends due to legal reasons usually with the year 1875.
That's interesting, I have noticed that a number of volumes seem to end at 1875. Even more interesting that some volumes haven't been made available yet, I had assumed they were lost. So in the future I may find the 1 person I am now searching for - one Alfred Matthes born in Germany in 1885/86 and most likely related. I have to stop looking for a while because I just keep finding more Matthes Family Bakers! I may go quiet for a while. Thanks for everything so far. Karen Appleyard (nee Matthes).
