Help with a few german words in this baptism record

Dear helpers,

I have the baptism record that I have transcribed and translated to English, but I am having problems with some of the words. Any help would be appreciated. This is the birth record for my 7xGreat Grandfather Nicolaus Kolb [there was a name change in the early 1700s]

Thank you, Danke,
-Joseph Kohl

Dear Joseph,

I think that the baptism record reads

Nicolaus Kolb, [father:] Georg Kolb from Thansuess
Younger son was born Saturday July 29, [1651]Witness / Godfather: Nicholas Mayer
from Maßerieth (probably Massenricht a nearby village) a farmer (Bauersmann)

Regards

Katrin

Thank you Katrin,

I feel stupid because now I see what I thought was a "g" was an "ij" or "y" for Nicholas Mayer. ...and i know the Mayer family was big for the area. However the name of the town Maßerieth I would never have figured out.

Thank you again for your help,
-Joseph
