Could someone help me read this funeral record?

It is a record from Alfeld, in Bayern, 1741. The deceased person is Kunigunda Mörtel. I believe she is the widow of Leonhard Mörtel, who was a baker in Alfeld. It looks to me as if the funeral text is Apocalypse 11:10, which seems a strange choice for a funeral. Am I mistaken? There are many words in this record that I can't read. If you could help, I would be very grateful.

died Kunigunda, (spouse of) Leonhardt Mörtel(passed by) Master of the praiseworthy bakery trade (this location), cause of death was an Erysipelas*, (christian duty like) buried at 26th Palm Sunday with a Sermon. Age was 62years, 11month, 21days, Sermon's text (theme was) Apocalypse 11 vers 10: "Stay in truth until your death, so i'll give you the core of Life".
† March/24th/1741

*(medical term expl. Erysipelas germ. "Rotlauf": bacterial infection, which - when spreading - can cause a blood intoxication (Sepsis) and lead to death. Not seldom seen in pre-antibiotic times)

So, Kunigundas data are:

Died Freyday 03/24/1741, been buried 2 days later 03/26/1741,
Age-based date of baptism: 04/03/1678 (mostly not allways same as DOB)

So i've to correct my translation into: " Stay in truth until your end, so i'll give you the CROWN of (the) Life"
Srry, " Crown" became to "Core", as a victim of the autocorrection-function in my texteditor.

Hi Jean,

just looked - should have done before - at Holy Bible, Relevation 2:10:
"Jesus promises the crown of life to those who remain loyal. The "crown" refers to the wreath that was given to the winner of an athletic contest. At the end of life's race an imperishable wreath awaits all who faithfully served Christ even unto death." (1 Corinthians 9:25).

So, in my opinion, it' quite appropriate for a religious persons burrial.
In Germany today, its more common to use this phrase when someone is to be baptized, to give hope for his life and after its end as a christ.

Thank you, User722 and Georg. This helps me understand the whole record. I see that I was reading Apoc. II as eleven, which is why the verse didn't seem right for a funeral. Apoc 2:10 is a much more appropriate text. I also appreciate knowing more about the cause of death. I did not know the word "Erysipelas."
