Event Tip: German Genealogy Day: Kirchenbücher online mit ARCHION

Mark the period from 27 to 29 October 2023 in your calendar, when the next Genealogy Day will take place in Kleve.

Since 1925, the annual German Genealogy Day has been the major meeting place for family researchers from the whole German-speaking area. Organized alternately by one of the member associations of the “Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft genealogischer Verbände e.V.” (German Working Committee of Genealogical Associations), this popular event usually takes place in Germany, but with occasional stopovers in Austria and Switzerland.

This year, the “Familienkundliche Vereinigung für das Klever Land MOSAIK” (Genealogical Association for the Kleve Area MOSAIK) hosts the event.

What you can expect:

A wealth of information at the exhibition area: Discover a variety of associations and service providers. Entrance to the exhibition is free!
Comprehensive conference program: You may look forward to a wide range of lectures with a focus on regional history as well as various topics around family research. You can choose between a ticket for a day and for the weekend.
Exchange and community: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange experiences, listen to inspiring stories and establish valuable contacts.
