The Mennonite Research Center
is operated by the Mennonite Historical Society (Mennonitscher Geschichtsverein e.V.) and sees itself as a place of remembrance and a memory storage of the Mennonites, Hutterites and Amish. It includes a library and an archive and besides an extensive collection of material concerning the history of the Anabaptist movement it also stores original church records of some German, Ukrainian and Polish Mennonite communities.
Mennonite Church Records
The church records are partly in bad condition – on site consultation is therefore only possible to a limited extent. It is therefore all the more pleasing that a part of them are available online in Archion.
